Concrete Contractor services in Indian
Indian is a strip of homes between the Seward Highway and the mountains, about half an hour south of midtown Anchorage along Turnagain Arm. Flat ground is scarce. Houses sit on narrow benches, and the hillside behind them is often rock a foot or two down. That rock is a solid base, but it means forms have to be stepped and pinned, and water running over the rock has to be caught before it gets under a slab. Turnagain Arm wind is strong and carries salt spray and grit, which is hard on a weak surface. We use air-entrained concrete, finish it with texture and seal it. Access matters too: a truck may have to pour from the road with a pump because there is no room to turn in the yard.

Permits and local rules
Indian is a Turnagain Arm community inside the Municipality of Anchorage. The Seward Highway is a state road, so a new or changed driveway onto it needs approval from the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities. We confirm the permit rules for your lot before quoting.
